Receptionist & Office Administrator

SUMMARY:
Location: Kleinmond
Start Date: 1 September 2026
We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Receptionist & Office Administrator to join a real estate office in Kleinmond. This role requires someone who is not only highly organised, but also confident, diplomatic, and genuinely personable in dealing with clients, agents, and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping the office running smoothly, supporting both administrative and  marketing functions, while also contributing ideas to improve efficiency and workflow.

Location:  Kleinmond, Overstrand Hermanus
Salary: TBC

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the reception area as the first point of contact for clients and visitors
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries professionally and efficiently
• Provide administrative support to estate agents, management, and office operations
• Maintain accurate filing systems, records, and documentation
• Assist with report writing, document preparation, and general correspondence
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take accurate meeting minutes
• Support social media posting, marketing activities, and event planning as required
• Contribute ideas and take initiative to improve office processes and daily operations

What We Are Looking For

• Matric (essential)
• Qualification or experience in Office Administration or Business Administration
• Proven experience in office administration, filing systems, and report writing
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook), a true “power user” mindset
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans with excellent communication skills
• Exceptionally personable with a diplomatic and professional approach
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A proactive, solution-driven mindset with the ability to take initiative and run with ideas
• Own reliable transport and a valid driver’s licence

Advantageous Experience

• Previous experience in a real estate or property environment
• Exposure to social media management and basic marketing support
• Experience using Canva or similar design tools
• Familiarity with digital tools and a willingness to embrace new technology and systems
