As a Junior Network Support Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining network systems, assisting with infrastructure stability, ensuring service delivery excellence, and contributing to the security and performance of client environments. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining valuable exposure to network administration, cyber security best practices, disaster recovery planning, and IT service management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
Manage and support LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewall, and routing environments.
Monitor network performance and proactively troubleshoot connectivity and infrastructure issues.
Perform security hardening, patch management, vulnerability assessments, and support cyber security initiatives.
Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, reports, and asset records.
Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and backup management processes.
Assist with Microsoft administration platforms, Teams, and related services.
Ensure compliance with SLA requirements and IT service management standards.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

CompTIA Network+ certification is essential.
Preferred minimum of 1 year relevant experience in a networking or IT infrastructure support role.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
MikroTik certification or extensive MikroTik router experience.
Solid understanding of Wi-Fi technologies, routing, switching, and advanced WAN/LAN configurations.
Firewall administration and monitoring experience.
Understanding of cyber security principles and best practices.
Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and service management principles.
Understanding of the NIST framework.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Willingness to travel and occasionally work outside standard business hours.
