SUMMARY:
Internal Sales - George

Our client in the office automation industry is on a recruitment drive for a young, dynamic and confident internal salesperson to join their team.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Conduct a high volume of outbound telephone and digital prospecting
Quality prospects and establish business requirements
Sell and promote companies' full range of products, including print, cloud, security and IT services
Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
Build relationships with decisionmakers and develop opportunities through the sales funnel
Schedule appointments / hand qualified opportunities to the relevant sales team
Follow up on leads and opportunities to the relevant sales team
Follow up leads and opportunities
Maintain accurate CRM records and provide sales / pipeline reporting
Work with internal teams to ensure customers receive appropriate solutions and support
Meet and exceed agreed activity, pipeline and revenue targets

Purpose of the role:

Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound calling
Contact existing customers as well as prospective / non customers
Create awareness and interest in the company solutions and generate qualified leads
Identify customer needs and position appropriate company products and services
Work collaboratively with field / external sales teams to develop opportunities
Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information in CRM
Achieve agreed sales / activity targets

POSITION INFO:
Qualification, Experience and Skills:

2-4 years' experience in sales, business development or another customer-facing role
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Fully Computer literate
B2B or IT experience is advantageous
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication
Strong telephone and virtual selling ability
Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend solutions
Self-motivated and comfortable working to targets
Strong organisational and analytical skills
CRM experience, preferably salesforece
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a wider sales team
