JOB DESCRIPTION:

Debtors Clerk (JB1969)

Remote for applicants living in South Africa

R25 – 35 000 per month, TCTC (Negotiable)

Bi-Annual Incentives

In this financial software solutions company, you have an opportunity to work with a leading and expanding product that is highly regarded in the market, alongside a team of highly skilled Accountants and Software Development specialists, who have embraced remote working.

You will be responsible for keeping record of client accounts, ensuring detailed and accurate record management. As an applicant you should be suitably qualified with previous experience within ideally, a software solutions company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate Bookkeeping

Monitor accounts and incoming payments

Verify, classify, and record accounts receivable data

Verify discrepancies

Resolve client billing issues

Prepare and manage invoices and bank deposits

Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger

Ensure all payments are correctly posted

Assist in preparing financial statements

Determine which accounts are overdue and manage communications to rectify outstanding balances
