JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is in search of a Debtors Clerk to manage the accounts of multiple branches and facilities located nationwide.

The candidate will be required to travel to Modderfontein until end of July 2022, and will be based in the Pyramid area (apx 20km north of Zambesi Drive, Pretoria) from August 2022.

The successful incumbent will manage over 1000 debtors accounts and be required to report on them monthly, process credit applications, execute credit checks and apply for credit insurance. Proficiency in Excel and Sage Evolution is required. This position requires a candidate with behavioural competencies in organisation, accuracy, skilled time management and timeous communication.

Further duties include but are not limited to:

Time sensitive cashups and payment allocations as well as discounts/rebate calculations on a daily basis based on numerous payment methods
Bank reconcilliations on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Weekly and Monthly debtors statements and the distribution thereof
Management of our debtors portal
Addressing debtors' queries, processing claims, credit notes and proof of delivery
Management of staff purchase accounts
Diverse account management
