SUMMARY:
A well-established organisation based in Edenvale is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to join their team.

This role requires a strong administrator who is confident working within structured environments, policies and internal controls. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and compliance support across various operational functions and will report to management level.

The Administrative Officer will play a key support role, assisting with contracts, compliance checks, documentation management and general administrative coordination. The individual must be proactive, persistent and able to work independently while managing multiple reporting lines.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

Matric (Grade 12)
Diploma or Degree advantageous
3–5 years’ experience in an administrative role within a medium to large organisation
Experience working within structured environments with policies and internal controls
Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Valid driver’s licence
Strong attention to detail
Highly organised and process-driven
Ability to multitask effectively
Persistent and proactive follow-up skills
Conflict management skills
Ability to work independently
Focused and task-driven
Strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

Reviewing, checking and verifying contracts and forms
Managing contract renewals and tracking expiry dates
Conducting cross-checks and ensuring accuracy of documentation
Following up on outstanding information and document deadlines
Capturing and verifying data (including utilities such as water and electricity readings where required)
Gathering required information from internal and external stakeholders
Performing sustainability and SHEQ-related administrative checks
Identifying and rectifying administrative errors
Providing general administrative support to management
Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and internal control requirements

Monday to Friday
08:00 – 17:00
On site / Full time
