Location: Johannesburg, South Africa

Position Overview:

A global leader in water quality analysis and treatment, providing instrumentation and disinfection systems require the services of an Accounts Receivable Clerk.

The Accounts Receivable Clerk will support the Finance team by managing the AR Process. Act as stand in for Accounts Payable Clerk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive continuous process improvement using DBS tools
• Send AR statements and Invoices to customers
• Follow up on overdue collections
• Daily cashflow management - expected collections
• Process all incoming payments onto Oracle
• Assist with and resolving customer queries
• Manage document retention process - Exports
• Perform GL to AR reconciliation in blackline
• Intercompany Invoicing
• QDIP & SOP creation and updates

Minimum Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Required:

• A completed Diploma in Accounting, Finance
• A minimum of 3 years Accounts Receivable experience in a multinational working environment
• Use of financial reporting tools such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint, ERP system and Oracle required
• Strong track record of driving continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to manage time well
• Strong development and role specific training pipeline within field indicating continuous self-development is mandatory
