SUMMARY:
One of the leading Pulp & Paper company based in Springs within a plant is currently looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk with the following skills & experience:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Incumbent will be required to ensure that all invoices are processed within the service level agreement (SLA) so suppliers are paid timeously and that all interactions and queries are logged and attended to promptly.

Key Responsibilities
Capturing:

Prepare bi-weekly cash flow forecast that’s required to be updated on a daily basis;
Distribute invoices and statements;
Telephonic collections and logging all customer interactions;
Collect, follow up on, and allocate payments within agreed payment terms;
Collection and reporting of activities according to specific deadlines;
Perform local cash control account reconciliations;
Generate and distribute weekly age analysis;
Investigate and follow up on unidentified receipts;
Ensure that entries relating to inter-company cash transfers are posted accurately (control account clearing);
Process adjustments;
Collect relevant data and prepare month-end statements;
Assist with month-end reports;
Ensure queries are resolved within the service level agreement (SLA) timeframe;
Maintain filling system; and Adhoc duties as requested by Team Leader.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:

Matric Certificate with Maths and Accounting; and
Financial Management / Accounting Degree, Diploma or Certificate advantageous.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Five (5) years’ working experience in finance/accounts receivable environment;
JDE System experience advantageous; and
MS Office Competence.
