POSITION INFO:

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Warranty Clerk to join a corporate motor dealership in Johannesburg. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with solid motor dealership warranty administration experience and knowledge of dealership systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and administer vehicle warranty claims accurately and timeously.

• Prepare, submit and follow up on warranty claims with manufacturers.

• Ensure all warranty documentation and supporting information is complete and accurate.

• Liaise with the Service Department regarding warranty repairs and claims.

• Check job cards and ensure all required information is correctly recorded.

• Monitor outstanding, rejected and unpaid warranty claims.

• Maintain accurate warranty records and filing.

• Ensure warranty claims comply with manufacturer policies and procedures.

• Assist with warranty audits and related administration.

• Liaise with service advisors, technicians and relevant dealership departments.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a warranty administration role within a corporate or franchised dealership.

• Experience as a Warranty Clerk within a Service Department.

• Experience working within a vehicle dealership and with corporate brands such as Ford, Suzuki, Hyundai, etc.

• Motor industry experience specifically.

• Experience with motor industry systems such as Kerridge, Autoline, etc.

• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

• Valid SA Driver’s Licence.

• Grade 12.

• Clear criminal record.
