A fantastic opportunity has opened for an experienced Property Administrator to join a leading property management team in Cape Town. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, has a strong financial acumen, and enjoys working in a dynamic and professional environment.

Acting as the backbone of the administrative function, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing lease agreements, arrears, tenant communication, and maintaining accurate property data. A deep understanding of property systems and strong communication skills are key to success in this role.

Key Duties:

• Load and maintain tenant data on internal property systems (PIMS/Rise)
• Prepare and finalise tenant statements, manual billings, reconciliations, and refunds
• Handle lease administration including credit checks, lease inputs, system updates, and annual increases
• Monitor and follow up on arrears, update reports, and manage legal handovers when necessary
• Maintain unit data, parking schedules, municipal invoices, and accruals
• Liaise with tenants and service providers professionally and efficiently
• Consolidate reports and assist with general property administration

Key Requirements:

• Grade 12 with a relevant diploma in property or administration
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a property administration role
• Financial accounting and customer service experience essential
• Proficient in MS Office and property management software (PIMS or MDA)
• Excellent attention to detail, numeracy, and organisational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines, multitask, and work independently
• Background in leasing and body corporate administration is advantageous
