SUMMARY:

Are you a detail-driven systems administrator with solid insurance experience and a strong understanding of policy administration systems? This role offers the opportunity to become the go-to specialist for a critical insurance platform in a stable, professional environment.

POSITION INFO:

Our client operates within the insurance industry and is seeking a Policy Administration System (PAS) Administrator to ensure the effective day-to-day operation, support, and optimisation of their policy administration platform. This role combines system administration, user support, reporting, and coordination with internal and external service providers.

This is an office-based role, suited to someone who enjoys structure, ownership, and working closely with business users to ensure systems run efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and support the Policy Administration System (PAS)
Coordinate system and IT support with internal teams and service providers
Perform product, document, and user setup and maintenance
Manage bulk policy updates and client communications
Generate, distribute, and maintain operational reports
Train users on system functionality and new processes
Support MS365 tools including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and Excel
Maintain system documentation and support new process rollouts

Job Experience and Skills Required (NonâNegotiable):

Proven experience within the insurance industry (nonânegotiable)
Hands-on experience with Policy Administration Systems (nonânegotiable)
3+ years’ experience in system or application administration
Tertiary qualification in IT or a related field
Experience supporting users (one-on-one and group training)
Strong MS Office / MS365 skills
Experience managing third-party service providers
Exposure to short-term insurance systems and policy wording is advantageous
