Personal Assistant (PA)

SUMMARY:
A leading company within the Plastics industry is seeking for an organised, detail-oriented and proactive Personal Assistant (PA) to provide administrative support to management and ensure the smooth coordination of daily business operations. The successful candidate must have strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records and support management with financial and operational administration.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to management.
• Manage calendars, meetings, appointments and daily schedules.
• Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence and business documents.
• Maintain and update spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
• Capture, analyse and manage data accurately.
• Assist with financial administration using Pastel Accounting.
• Process invoices, purchase orders and assist with basic accounting functions.
• Maintain accurate filing systems and company records.
• Monitor and track office expenses and financial documentation.
• Assist with customer and supplier communication.
• Coordinate meetings and take minutes when required.
• Prepare documentation for management review.
• Assist with general office administration and operational tasks.
• Ensure all administrative processes are completed efficiently and accurately.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric certificate essential.
• Diploma/Certificate in Administration, Office Management, Finance, or a related field advantageous.
• Previous experience working as a Personal Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or Office Administrator.
• Knowledge and practical experience using Microsoft Excel (formulas, spreadsheets, reporting, data capturing, and tracking).
• Experience working with Pastel Accounting is not essential.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
