SUMMARY:
Office Administrator for a 6-month contract position offices in Woodstock

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are recruiting for an experienced organiser and admin-lover who can take on the many admin-heavy tasks of this small dynamic organisation. We are looking for someone who works well in small teams and whose ambition is to perform tasks as well as possible. WE need a positive person who communicates well and who can liaise comfortably with everyone in the chain: from customers wanting stock lists, to the printers about dispatches, to the beneficiary organisations about deliveries, and everyone else in-between.

Duties:

  • Support all company activities and projects
  • Manage diaries/agendas/travel arrangements/appointments and more for the 2 Directors
  • Handle external communication (written and oral) with a range of stakeholders (beneficiary organisations, donors, supporters, printers etc)
  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures (eg. review payment allocations and reconcile payments)
  • Create and update records and databases of company volunteers, financial and other data
  • Manage the logistics around all company events, communicate with volunteers, arrange catering, courier equipment, prepare all event materials
  • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
  • Manage office equipment and maintain a clean and enjoyable working environment

Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Excellent communication skills - both written en verbal
  • Professional at all times
  • Accurate and detail-driven
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Able to work at the offices in Woodstock, Monday to Friday.
