SUMMARY:
Signa Opportunity is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.

About the YES Initiative
The initiative was launched by the President in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labour department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.

Position: Office Administrator

Stipend: R5400.00 pm

Location: Durban (Underberg)

POSITION INFO:
About the role
The Office Administrator's duties are to maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, ensuring adherence to relevant company procedures and policies, and also keeping databases in check and updating them regularly.

Task:

Preparing, organizing, and building mentorship reports for impact partners
Dealing with queries on the phone and by email.
Greeting visitors at reception, maintaining visitors register.
Managing incubation hub calendar events.
Maintaining the applicant database.
Arranging post and deliveries.
Taking minutes at meetings.
Updating computer records using a database.
Printing and photocopying.
Ordering office supplies.
Liaising with suppliers and contractors
Hosting Job Seekers Training.

Minimum Requirements

South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
Must not have participated on the programme before.
Matric.
Computer Literate
