POSITION INFO:

WE ARE HIRING: Network Infrastructure Technician
Location: Bloemfontein | Salary: Market Related

We are seeking a technically skilled and reliable Network Infrastructure Technician to join our team, supporting IT hardware, network infrastructure, CCTV and fibre installations in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, terminate and test CAT6 fibre cabling
• Mount and connect devices such as cameras, Wi-Fi access points, switches and network cabinets
• Diagnose and repair faults in cabling, devices or system configurations
• Pull, route, label and secure cables according to standards and site requirements
• Terminate cables in patch panels, cabinets and equipment rooms
• Maintain and record equipment and stock levels

Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate or equivalent to NQF 4
• 3 years'' experience in an IT environment
• Minimum 2 years'' exposure in IT hardware, network infrastructure, CCTV and fibre installation
• LAN/WAN infrastructure installation and troubleshooting skills
• Proficient in handling power tools and operating splicing equipment
• High technical aptitude and proficiency in hardware installation
• Comfortable working at height
• Good computer skills
• Medically fit to work in a manufacturing environment

Additional Information:
This role operates in a 24/7 onsite service environment, and after-hours work is applicable.
