POSITION INFO:

My client operates across multiple sites with a large operational workforce, focused on reliability, accuracy and compliance, they value teamwork, accountability and operational excellence. Seeking the assistance of a Junior Payroll and Finance administrator to join their team.

What you will be doing:

• Download, verify and reconcile clock‑in and clock‑out data from time and attendance systems
• Calculate weekly and monthly wages for shift‑based employees
• Process payroll accurately and on time
• Manage overtime, leave, sick leave and public holiday pay
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
• Prepare payroll reports for management
• Maintain accurate payroll records
• General Financial Administration
• Administration
• Booking of appointments
• Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Financial Manager

What we are looking for: 

• Proven experience in payroll administration
• Experience in shift‑based environments such as security, retail or similar industries
• Strong understanding of time and attendance systems
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Strong Excel skills and experience using payroll systems
• English and Afrikaans required
