POSITION INFO:

A well-established fine dining restaurant in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is seeking a Junior Chef de Partie to join its kitchen brigade.

This opportunity is ideal for a strong Commis Chef or Junior CDP looking to further develop their skills within a professional fine dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing a designated kitchen section
Prepare ingredients and menu items to required standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen
Follow recipes and instructions provided by senior chefs
Assist with stock rotation and stock control
Support service during busy periods

Requirements

Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Junior Chef de Partie
Fine dining experience advantageous
Relevant culinary qualification
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Ability to work well within a team environment
Own reliable transport essential
Available to work weekends, evenings and public holidays
