Junior Account Executive - South Africa (Remote) - R20 000

The Role: Junior Account Executive This is an entrepreneurial role where you will work directly with the executive team to define how the company acquires customers, develops enterprise relationships, and scales revenue. You will own the complete sales cycle from outbound prospecting through negotiation, contracting, and close, while contributing to the go-to-market strategy, messaging, product feedback, and commercial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete the sales cycle from outbound prospecting through negotiation, contracting and close, drawing on 1-3 years of experience in B2B SaaS or technology sales.

• Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals and strategic partnerships.

• Build relationships with senior decision makers including C-suite executives, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, HR and Customer Experience leaders.

• Conduct consultative discovery sessions to understand customer challenges and identify opportunities for AI-driven transformation.

• Present AI consulting, automation and workspace solutions through tailored demonstrations and executive presentations.

• Develop commercial proposals, business cases and ROI models that clearly articulate customer value.

• Manage pipeline health, forecasting and opportunity progression within the CRM.

• Work closely with the CSO and CRO to refine the Ideal Customer Profile, value propositions and market positioning.

About You

• 1-3 years experience in B2B SaaS or technology sales.

• Demonstrated success closing complex consultative sales opportunities.

• Experience selling into mid-market or enterprise organisations.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to build commercial cases and demonstrate ROI.

• Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills.

• Experience engaging senior executives and multiple stakeholders within large organisations.

• Highly organised with strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline.

• Comfortable working independently within a fast-paced startup environment.

• Possess an entrepreneurial mindset, commercial thinking, relationship building skills, consultative selling skills, and strategic problem solving abilities.

• Demonstrate ownership, accountability, resilience, adaptability, curiosity, and strong communication skills.

• Experience selling AI solutions, automation platforms, SaaS software, Work OS platforms, CRM solutions, digital transformation services, or enterprise technology consulting is preferred.

• Experience working within a startup or scale-up environment will be highly advantageous.
