SUMMARY:
Job Purpose:
To conduct the internal sales function so that orders are processed, deliveries scheduled, and customers assisted resulting in an excellent and cost-effective service. Work will entail Roof Tiles and Aggregates. Based in Krugersdorp

POSITION INFO:
To conduct the internal sales function so that orders are processed, deliveries scheduled, and customers assisted resulting in an excellent and cost-effective service.

Key responsibilities:
Internal Sales and dispatch administrations.
Capture and maintain data in Microsoft Excel.
Generate purchase orders accurately.
Match purchase order to customer invoices.
Filing and maintaining accurate records.
Ensure that all documentation is timeously and accurately completed.
Perform general administration duties.

Major challenges:
Communication with transporters regarding truck availability to achieve daily revenue targets.
Keeping demanding customers happy and maintaining a high service level.
Staying focused in a job with high interruption level and multiple task demand to be managed efficiently.
To adjust delivery scheduling to meet immediate changing conditions.
Be able to work in a demanding environment and provide excellent administrative support.

Minimum requirements:
Qualifications – Grade 12 (Matric).
Candidate with a bit of customer relations /sales knowledge or experience are preferable.
Proficient in using Microsoft excel and outlook.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and be able to work as part of the team.
Knowledge of debtors and creditors will be an advantage
Prior experience related to the despatch function would be an advantage.
