POSITION INFO:
Our client is looking for a commercially minded, business savvy and professionally astute individual to join its commercial sales team in the position of Internal Sales and e-commerce platform manager.
The suitable candidate will have a minimum of 5 years Industrial or Technical sales or operations experience within the Industrial Racking, Shelving, Flooring and Storage Solutions industry and will have a thorough knowledge of the sales and marketing environment within this highly specialized industry. A highly incentivised and competitive package is on offer that has both a basic salary together with monetary performance-based incentives and commissions.

Position Summary
The internal sales manager role is centered on generating sales for the business, and ensuring all related processes run smoothly so that the client’s needs are fulfilled.

• Sales process is followed, and sales dialogue focuses on client needs over “product” features
• Sales volumes are to be achieved in accordance with the targets to be discussed with potential candidate
• Pipeline is managed with sufficient deals in all sales stages (so that sales, sales targets, seat costs, commissions and sales bonuses may be managed effectively)

• The role of the internal sales manager is firstly to understand, comprehend and grasp all of the services and “products” that has on offer to the market. 
• The internal sales manager must manage the entire process of the companies e-commerce platform which includes all online sales and sales orders, fulfillment and drop-shipping management
• The internal sales manager, in conjunction with and working closely with the companies e-commerce third-party service providers, will ensure that all of the e-commerce platform requirements are met such as the maintenance of the company's website, the optimization of specific functionalities such as SEO (search engine optimization, e-commerce marketing utilizing various platforms (Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, WhatsApp,  Instagram) as well as direct business to business marketing through emailing campaigns and email engagement, telephonic customer engagement and calling as well as through networking with both current and potential customers.
• The internal sales manager must understand how to research, find and assimilate leads, prospects and potential customers in a format that leads to high sales activity and high sales closure rates
• The internal sales manager must be able to demonstrate superior skill with regards the generation and prospecting of new leads/prospects
• The internal sales manager must ensure that new business transactions are concluded daily.
• The internal sales manager must be able to research, learn and understand the Racking, Shelving, Mezzanine Floor, Industrial and Retail storage equipment industry including the following technical aspects:
• Industrial and Retail Racking and Shelving systems
• Complete ecosystem of Industrial and Retail storage products
• Complete ecosystem of material handling products
• The technical calculation of specific client requirements in respect of their racking, shelving and other associated products or services
• Overseeing the supply and installation and after-sales support of the company's client servicing model which will require that you work closely with companies third party/outsourced installation teams
• Source new clients and opportunities and manage the sales process from start/inception to completion
• Must demonstrate advanced product knowledge of the companies products and services to potential customers, prospects, clients as well as the companies internal stakeholders
• Ensure that sales targets are met and exceeded on a continuous weekly, monthly and yearly basis
• Ensure that all potential customers, leads and prospect information is updated on the company’s CRM system and database
• Provide management with weekly and monthly reports on all sales activity
• Ensure that he/she fulfils a potential customers’ requests, requirements and needs so as to drive and increase the company’s sales
• Adhere to any and all company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other company employees, managers and directors to ensure that the companies remain relevant in its client base and market niche
• Follow up with any client queries diligently and efficiently
• Utilise technology to his/her advantage where necessary to enhance the company image and to drive sales
• Work closely with the greater management team to develop new sales strategies and increase sales
• Manage and handle all incoming customer enquiries, customer queries, customer product requirements and customer information. This will be across all product lines within the e-commerce business as well as across all of the company's product range that includes racking, shelving and mezzanine flooring (this is a key-critical requirement of the job)
