SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate will have strong Internal Sales experience within the Instrumentation and Valves industry, combined with sound technical and commercial knowledge.

POSITION INFO:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle incoming telephonic and email enquiries.
Process sales and customer orders.
Obtain relevant information from customers and arrange appointments with Sales Engineers or Specialists where required.
Prepare, submit and follow up on quotations.
Manage and track RFQs through to completion.
Assist branches and external sales representatives with quotations.
Process invoices, inter-branch transfers and related jobs.
Expedite orders with branches, external sales teams and suppliers.
Coordinate technical enquiries and requirements.
Assist with stock management and related administration.
Compile daily sales and activity reports.
Conduct minor repairs to instruments and/or valves in the workshop.
Manage workshop repair administration.
Follow up on outstanding branch quotations and enquiries.
Liaise with international suppliers, track enquiries and assist with project quotations.
Provide suppliers with detailed feedback on specific enquiries.
Assist with price lists and ongoing price-list management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 5 years experience in Internal Sales within the Instrumentation and Valves industry.
Business or Engineering qualification preferred.
Strong commercial acumen, including understanding of ROE, Incoterms, sales terms and conditions.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with valves, instrumentation, pneumatic and/or electrical products will be advantageous.
Ability to identify pneumatic and electrical components and understand their basic functions.
Strong quotation, RFQ and order-processing experience.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach.
