SUMMARY:
Seeking an experienced Internal Sales Clerk in the Sandton area.

POSITION INFO:

Key responsibilities:

Process customer orders, quotes and sales through various channels, including telephone, email and eCommerce.
Handle customer queries, complaints and technical enquiries.
Provide technical and product support to customers.
Proactively follow up on quotations and identify sales opportunities.
Assist both account and cash-sale customers.
Maintain accurate records and ensure all processes and procedures are followed.
Build strong customer relationships and provide excellent customer service.

Key requirements:

Matric with 3–5 years’ Internal Sales experience, preferably within a technical/electrical/electronic industry.
Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
Excellent verbal and written English and Afrikaans communication skills.
Strong numerical, administrative and organisational abilities.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Able to multitask, work under pressure and manage difficult customer situations.
Self-motivated, adaptable, customer-focused and commercially minded.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
N3–N6 Electrical/Electronic qualification or an Electrical/Electronic Trade Certificate would be an advantage.
Willingness to work overtime and attend occasional after-hours customer functions and company events.
