POSITION INFO:

Role Overview

The Returns & Testing Technician is responsible for receiving returned stock, verifying documentation, and conducting secondary testing on products. This role ensures accurate record-keeping, identifies product faults, and supports overall warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Stock Receiving & Verification

Receive returned stock from various retailers
Verify job cards against delivered products
Ensure each unit is accompanied by a valid Goods Received Voucher (GRV)
Confirm that serial numbers and model numbers match the job card and GRV
Endorse Proof of Delivery (POD) to confirm receipt of goods
Allocate stock to the correct location for further processing

2. Secondary Testing Preparation

Prepare received stock for secondary testing
Ensure proper handling and organisation of units prior to testing

3. TV Testing

Inspect units for physical damage
Compare reported faults on job cards with testing findings
Record return number, model number, serial number, and identified faults
Maintain an updated spreadsheet of all tested units
Submit daily testing reports to the department head

4. Refrigeration Testing

Inspect units for physical damage
Compare reported faults with actual testing results
Record all relevant product and fault details accurately
Maintain and update testing records
Submit daily reports to the department head

5. General Warehouse Support

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
Assist with monthly stock counts and inventory control

Work Location：

◊ Chloorkop, Kempton Park

Other：

Working Hours: 8:00-16:30
Entitled to South Africa public holidays
