SUMMARY:
Our client, an upmarket residential estate based in Ballito is looking an experience HR Officer to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS:

Appropriate 3 year Degree/National Diploma in human resources.

5 years+ of generalist HR experience.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

Strong presentation and communication skills. Computer literacy (MS Office); Sound interpersonal relations; Planning and organizing skills; Able to work under pressure, Problem solving, organisational and leadership skills; Ability to work in a team

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Render generalist Human Resource services to the company including oversight of HR policies and procedures, recruitment and onboarding,

• Maintenance all HR records and personnel files,

• management of all leave, IODs, overtime etc,

• Collate, prepare and submit monthly payroll documentation,

• Manage and provide feedback on salary input information,

• guide and advise staff on performance management,

• Advise and provide support to line management on performance contracting and assessment,

• ensure that performance agreements are developed and implemented for all staff within each unit.

• Facilitate and assist with performance evaluation, poor performance and incapacity issues within the organization through appropriate HR advice and ensuring corrective measures are implemented and taking place.

• Provide advisory support to management and staff on labour relations issues. Ensure compliance with all statutory reporting, Assist in identifying and addressing staff training and development needs.
