SUMMARY:
Winelands Pork is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support the full employee lifecycle and HR operations.
Key responsibilities:

Managing time and attendance records, leave administration and payroll input preparation for payroll processing.
Coordinating Employment Equity processes, committee administration and supporting Employment Equity reporting requirements.
Maintaining employee records, HR documentation, filing systems and providing administrative support to the company nurse and HR department.
Administering pension fund queries, exits and related documentation.
Supporting the HR Manager with general HR duties, grievance procedures and staff enquiries.
Coordinating recruitment administration, including job advertisements, candidate communication, interview scheduling, onboarding documentation and recruitment record keeping.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Diploma or degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology or a related field.
At least 2 years work experience, ideally in a wholesale/manufacturing environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
Strong organisational skills, accuracy and the ability to work independently and in a team.
Ability to work under pressure, with strong time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in isiXhosa will be advantageous.
Own reliable transport and flexibility to work additional hours during peak operational periods when required.
