HR & Payroll Administrator

POSITION INFO:
The role offers broad exposure across HR administration, payroll, statutory requirements, recruitment and employee processes.

Duties / Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the payroll function for 600+ employees across multiple companies
• Manage HR administration, including employment contracts, leave, job descriptions and employee records
• Process statutory requirements, including EE, SDL, EMPs, WMC, ROE and SARS
• Prepare and maintain HR and payroll reports
• Assist with and manage Department of Labour audits
• Administer Pension/Provident and Risk Funds
• Assist with recruitment and selection processes
• Coordinate onboarding and employee exit processes

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' relevant HR/payroll experience
• Practical experience with Sage 300 Payroll (Advantageous)
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans

Education

• Relevant HR, payroll or related qualification would be advantageous
