POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a versatile and guest-focused Maintenance / Field Guide. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating exceptional guest experiences and is comfortable working across different areas of lodge operations. We are particularly interested in a maintenance savvy guide with strong guest relations.

Candidate Responsibilities:

Deliver outstanding guest service throughout the guest journey.
Maintenance duties.
Welcome, host, and assist guests during their stay.
Coordinate guest activities, schedules, and special requests.
Ensure guest areas are presented to the highest standards.
Support smooth day-to-day lodge operations.
Liaise effectively with housekeeping, kitchen, guiding, and maintenance teams.
Assist with guest activities and experiences as required.
Where suitably qualified, provide occasional game drives or guided experiences.
Assist in other operational departments when needed to support the lodge team.

Core Criteria:

Previous experience in hospitality, guest relations, lodge operations, or guiding.
Strong maintenance skills
Minimum FGASA NQF2
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible and willing to assist across multiple departments.
Valid driver's licence preferred.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
