POSITION INFO:
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Creditors Clerk who thrives in a high-volume environment and enjoys building strong supplier relationships while ensuring smooth and efficient accounts payable processes.

This role is based in Linbro, Johannesburg North.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and verify supplier invoices in line with company policies and VAT requirements
• Perform accurate supplier reconciliations, including invoices, statements, and ERP system balances
• Manage supplier age analysis and investigate long outstanding items
• Ensure timely supplier payments in accordance with agreed payment terms and cash flow requirements
• Process EFT payments and obtain the necessary approvals
• Handle supplier and branch queries efficiently and professionally
• Liaise with procurement and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and GRIR issues
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on missing statements
• Process employee expense claims in line with company policy
• Maintain strong supplier and internal stakeholder relationships
• Forward proof of payments to suppliers when required
• Assist with additional finance duties and supplier allocation rotations when necessary

• Matric (Grade 12) 
• Relevant Finance or Accounting qualification advantageous
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a creditors/accounts payable role
• Strong reconciliation and numerical skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• ERP system experience essential
• Sound knowledge of VAT and invoice compliance
• Knowledge of local and foreign suppliers advantageous
