POSITION INFO:
A well-established organisation is looking for a Compliance Clerk to join its team. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring that discounting transactions, documentation and processes comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor discounting transactions to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, company policies and contractual requirements.
• Assist with the implementation and monitoring of compliance controls and procedures.
• Conduct signatory checks on agreements to ensure compliance.
• Verify supporting documentation for discounting transactions, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
• Identify and escalate discrepancies, irregularities and potential compliance breaches.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance registers, records and documentation.
• Prepare compliance, exception and monitoring reports for management.
• Identify potential risks within discounting processes and assist with corrective actions.
• Provide support during internal and external audits, including gathering and submitting documentation.
• Liaise with Finance, Credit, Risk and other internal stakeholders to resolve compliance queries.
• Assist with communicating compliance requirements and supporting compliance awareness within the department.
