Acquisition Sales Team Leader (Observatory, Cape Town)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities:

ØManagement of call centre.
ØAchieve growth and hit sales targets.
ØTo achieve / exceed targets aimed at growing sustainable sales and profits of the Business Unit and organisation.
ØIdentify and prospect new business sales targets.
ØManage sales and after sales performance of individuals and teams.
ØResponsible for efficient and effective coordination between sales and other departments.
ØImplement and manage SOPs and SLAs and monthly performance reviews.
ØSkill level development.
ØAdmin: Management reports, sales figures, targets and performance management.
ØWhere necessary, prepare and conduct sales presentation.
ØFocus on development of New Business Revenue growth through prospecting, qualifying and closing the deal.
ØGenerate and follow up on qualified leads in line with company specific requirements.
ØEnsure consistent achievement of all relevant product/monthly targets.
ØManage all relevant internal administrative processes.
ØLearn new products knowledge and acquire improved selling skills and communicate to the Sales Team.
ØEnsure effective and ongoing communication between the Sales Teams and supporting departments within the Company at all levels.
ØRespond and assist on all Sales department queries.

Key Competencies and Skills

ØMinimum of 3-5 years of successful previous experience as a Sales Team Leader, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
ØProven ability to read situations, think strategically, formulate comprehensive account plans and drive relationships vertically and horizontally.
ØRelentless and experienced in identifying target leads, reaching out and generating sales from cold leads.
ØProven ability to drive the sales process from start to close.
ØAble to take initiative and be creative.
ØGood command of English Language.
ØExcellent interpersonal and client relationship skills.
ØProven analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
ØAssertiveness and communication skills.
ØResilience and flexibility.
ØCustomer service orientated.
ØTeam player.
ØProject management and coordination capabilities.
ØMotivated and dynamic attitude.
ØWork structured and self-dependent.
ØClear Criminal record.
ØProficient in Microsoft Office
ØBond/home loan experience.

Bond origination experience compulsory.
