Used Vehicle Sales Manager

SUMMARY:
USED VEHICLE SALES MANAGER
Location: Boksburg, Gauteng
We are looking for an experienced and driven Used Vehicle Sales Manager to manage the day-to-day operations, performance and profitability of a Used Vehicle Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive monthly and annual used vehicle sales targets and gross profit.
• Lead, motivate, coach and manage the Used Vehicle Sales team.
• Manage used vehicle stock, including sourcing, purchasing, trade-ins, pricing and stock ageing.
• Conduct and oversee accurate vehicle valuations and trade-in assessments.
• Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to maximise sales and profitability.
• Ensure effective stock rotation and timely vehicle reconditioning.
• Monitor individual and departmental KPIs and implement strategies to improve performance.
• Assist Sales Executives with negotiations and deal closing.
• Handle escalated customer queries and ensure excellent customer service.
• Work closely with F&I, New Vehicle Sales, Workshop and other dealership departments.
• Ensure compliance with dealership and OEM processes and maintain accurate reporting.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• 3–5 years' experience in a Used / Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Management role.
• Strong motor dealership experience with a proven sales and gross profit track record.
• Strong knowledge of used vehicle stock management, valuations, pricing, trade-ins and stock ageing.
• OMODA, JAECOO, Chery or other corporate dealership experience will be advantageous.
• Valid South African driver's licence.
• Clear criminal record.
• Good computer and Dealer Management System knowledge.
