Tender Administrator

Location: Parktown, Gauteng
Contract Type: Permanent

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Tender Administrator to support a busy tender department within a fast-paced shared services environment.

Minimum Requirements

Matric (Grade 12)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a tender or bid administration environment
Strong MS Office skills (Advanced level)
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Strong administration, time management, and organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

Advantageous

Tertiary qualification in Administration or related field
Strong editing and proofreading skills
Experience working with supplier databases (e.g. government portals)

Key Responsibilities

Support tender coordinators with preparation and submission of tender documents
Compile and manage tender files and supporting documentation
Update and maintain internal tender registers and databases
Track tender opportunities and submission deadlines
Ensure timely delivery of tender submissions
Assist with general departmental administration and procurement support
Manage stationery and consumables for the department
