Supplier Management Administrator (Supply chain)

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking to hire a Supplier Management Administrator on a fixed term contract (4 months).

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• MS Office and SAP
• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
• Diploma in Operations Management, supply chain management or Commerce
• 2 to 3 years’ experience in similar environment as a Supplier Management Administrator

• Facilitate timely and accurate reporting for all Supplier Management activities, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Prepare and maintain reports on supplier expenditure, performance metrics, and risk assessments to support decision-making.
• Support the implementation of commercial and supply chain strategies by aligning with business objectives, executing action plans, conducting audits, verifying compliance, and resolving issues in collaboration with management.
• Assist the Supply Chain team with supplier onboarding and offboarding, ensuring all registration processes are completed efficiently and in line with company policies.
• Provide support in conducting supplier due diligence, ensuring all required checks and documentation are completed prior to engagement.
• Serve as a key liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders, facilitating communication and resolving operational queries.
• Ensure B-BBEE certificates are obtained and updated timeously, accurately captured in SAP, and properly documented. This includes engaging with suppliers and internal teams, as well as monitoring and reporting on certificate status.
• Maintain and verify supplier documentation compliance, ensuring all records meet regulatory and internal governance standards.
