Retail Store Supervisor

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Grade 12

1 - 3 years expirience in a clothing retail

Duties:

Supervise daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient running of the retail floor.
Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in achieving sales targets and operational goals.
Oversee sales staff on the floor, ensuring good customer service and productivity.
Assist with stock control including receiving deliveries, replenishment, and stock counts.
Ensure merchandise is neatly displayed and aligned with visual merchandising standards.
Monitor daily sales, assist with cash-ups, and ensure correct handling of transactions.
Address customer queries and resolve minor complaints professionally.
Ensure staff adherence to store policies, procedures, and work schedules.
Assist with staff training, coaching, and on-the-job development of sales assistants.
Monitor store cleanliness, security, and general housekeeping standards.
Report operational issues, stock shortages, and staff concerns to management.
Support opening and closing procedures of the store.
Ensure compliance with company standards and retail operational requirements.
