Clothing Store Supervisor

POSITION INFO:

• Supervise daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient running of the retail floor.
• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in achieving sales targets and operational goals.
• Oversee sales staff on the floor, ensuring good customer service and productivity.
• Assist with stock control including receiving deliveries, replenishment, and stock counts.
• Ensure merchandise is neatly displayed and aligned with visual merchandising standards.
• Monitor daily sales, assist with cash-ups, and ensure correct handling of transactions.
• Address customer queries and resolve minor complaints professionally.
• Ensure staff adherence to store policies, procedures, and work schedules.
• Assist with staff training, coaching, and on-the-job development of sales assistants.
• Monitor store cleanliness, security, and general housekeeping standards.
• Report operational issues, stock shortages, and staff concerns to management.
• Support opening and closing procedures of the store.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and retail operational requirements.
