POSITION INFO:

Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

• Stock Control & Inventory Management
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming stock and materials.
  • Issue materials to production or departments as needed.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with full stock takes.
  • Report stock variances, low stock levels, and potential shortages.
• Syspro System Usage
  • Accurately capture all stock movements (receipts, issues, transfers) in Syspro.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and generate reports as required.
  • Ensure stock data is up to date and reliable for planning purposes.
• Receiving & Dispatch Duties
  • Assist in receiving goods and ensure proper documentation and quality checks.
  • Prepare and dispatch goods with correct paperwork and packaging.
• Warehouse Organisation
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly storeroom or warehouse.
  • Ensure correct labelling, storage, and FIFO principles.
• Health & Safety Compliance
  • Comply with all warehouse safety procedures.
  • Report hazards, damaged stock, or unsafe practices immediately.

Requirements:

• Minimum Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
• Experience:
  • 2–3 years’ experience as a Storeman in an FMCG environment
  • Syspro experience is essential
• Skills & Attributes:
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of inventory principles and warehouse practices
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
  • Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
