JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, a well established property development and construction group, seeks to employ a Stock Controller to manage construction materials for projects in and around Cape Town.

This role does require a candidate with experience in the construction or technical sector, and who has managed staff

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION

You will have completed Matric, coupled with 5 plus years experience in stock control and stores management within the technical or construction sector, dealing with large volumes of project materials.
You will have experience in ensuring a well run store, as well as proven experience in managing junior staff, to ensure stock is correct and providing input into quality of materials from suppliers
You will have good software skills on Excel and preference will be given to those who have worked on BuildSmart
Fluency in English and Afrikaans is essential and preference given to those currently resident in the Winelands/Stellenbosch Region, to start immediately
A valid driver’s license, a criminal and credit check will be conducted
