Key Controller / MRE Hub Controller

Location: Malmesbury, Western Cape

Job Overview

An established automotive group is seeking a reliable, organised and detail-oriented Key Controller / MRE Hub Controller to manage and control vehicle keys, vehicle books, NATIS documents and related vehicle administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate record-keeping, stock takes, vehicle movement tracking and ensuring that all keys and documentation are securely stored, properly recorded and accounted for.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Manage and control master keys, spare keys and vehicle key registers.
Record key movements, verify driver's licences before issuing keys and follow up on outstanding keys.
Conduct regular stock takes of keys, vehicle books and NATIS documents.
Maintain accurate registers, live sheets and vehicle documentation records.
Track vehicle movements, arrivals, transfers and stock documentation.
Request and follow up on outstanding NATIS documents from banks.
Upload and maintain vehicle registration documentation on dealership systems.
Ensure all vehicle keys and documentation are received, correctly labelled and securely stored.
Compile daily sleepover reports and outstanding documentation lists.
Investigate discrepancies, report missing documents and communicate outstanding issues to management.
Ensure all vehicle releases are properly authorised and supported by the required documentation.

Advantageous Experience

Previous experience in a motor dealership environment.
Experience in stock control, vehicle administration or document management.
Familiarity with Keyloop, Autobid or similar dealership systems.
Experience handling vehicle keys, vehicle books and NATIS documentation.
