Procurement Controller – Stellenbosch, Cape Town - Salary: R14,000 – R18,000 per month

Are you an organized, negotiation-savvy procurement professional with a knack for international sourcing and cost optimization? A fast-paced, dynamic company is looking for a proactive Procurement Controller to manage their end-to-end purchasing functions, drive supplier relationships, and keep operations running seamlessly!

Key Responsibilities:

Purchasing & Operations: Generate and issue Purchase Orders accurately, update pricing on BOMs, track project costs, and align with sales on stock projections.
Supplier & Relationship Management: Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and global suppliers to secure the best pricing, service levels, and lead times.
Import & Logistics Coordination: Oversee international procurement, liaise with freight forwarders and customs agents, and manage import documentation to avoid delays.
Cost Control: Analyze market trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and assist with annual procurement forecasting.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with the Warehouse Controller, Finance, and Operations teams to prevent stockouts and resolve invoice queries.

What We Are Looking For:

Education: Grade 12 (Matric) required. A Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Logistics is highly advantageous.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a purchasing or procurement role.
Technical Skills: Experience working with inventory management systems and managing import processes.

Soft Skills: Outstanding negotiation skills, exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to thrive under pressure
