POSITION INFO:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Short-Term Claims Consultant to join a well-established financial services environment based in Hazelwood, Pretoria.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full end-to-end non-motor short-term insurance claims process, ensuring claims are handled efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal service standards.

Key responsibilities include claims registration, assessment, validation, settlement, client communication, liaison with service providers, and maintaining accurate claims records. The role requires a strong understanding of building and household contents claims, excellent problem-solving ability, and a professional, client-focused approach.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a fast-paced insurance environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously while maintaining high service delivery standards.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric Certificate
RE5 qualification
Minimum 2 years’ short-term insurance claims experience
Strong non-motor claims experience (building and contents)
Insurance or financial services industry experience essential
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
