Description:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales in the Cape Town region, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual who can operate independently while representing the company professionally.

Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell PPE and industrial consumables to new and existing clients
• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads within assigned territory
• Conduct needs analyses, product demonstrations, and provide quotations/proposals
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to close sales successfully
• Maintain and grow an existing customer base while expanding into new accounts
• Plan daily sales routes efficiently to maximize customer coverage
• Manage customer queries and resolve complaints to ensure satisfaction
• Record sales activities and customer interactions accurately in the CRM system
• Stay up to date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activity
• Achieve and consistently exceed monthly and annual sales targets
• Provide feedback to management on market conditions, customer needs, and sales performance
• Represent the company professionally and uphold brand values

• Well-spoken, professional, and presentable
• Own a reliable vehicle and hold a valid driver’s licence
• Matric qualification (Matric certificate required)
• Age between 26 and 52 years
• Minimum 5 years proven sales experience
• PPE sales experience is a strong advantage
• Knowledge of industrial consumables and products is highly advantageous
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Previous experience using a CRM system and reporting on sales calls is an advantage
• Technically savvy and comfortable using sales-related technology
• Excellent sales, customer service, and relationship-building skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and driven
• Ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets
• Must demonstrate employment stability (no frequent job changes)
