Our client, a leading retailer in premium and luxury brands is seeking to employ an experienced sales representative to join their team
The eyewear sales representative will drive territory growth by visiting optical retailers, optometrists, and healthcare professionals to sell frames, lenses, and accessories. Key duties include conducting product demonstrations, negotiating pricing and terms, and managing administrative tasks such as order processing and CRM data entry. Success requires meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets while providing exceptional after-sales support and building long-term client relationships.
Core Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development: Actively prospect for new leads, present new product lines, and close deals to meet defined performance goals.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain frequent contact with existing accounts, address concerns, and provide ongoing training on product features and benefits.
- Administrative & Reporting: Prepare accurate sales reports, manage order logistics, and maintain detailed records of customer interactions within a CRM system.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to inform sales strategies and product development.
Daily Activities
- Travel & Visits: Travel to various practices or clinics to showcase inventory and consult on merchandising displays through out WC and some Northern Cape Locations
- Order Fulfillment: Coordinate with internal departments ( customer service, production) to ensure accurate delivery of products.
- Problem Solving: Resolve issues related to stock, pricing, or after-sales service to ensure high customer satisfaction
Requirements
Grade 12
Own transport
