Cape Town Office | Office-Based | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM UK Time, 1-Hour Lunch Break | R25,000 Basic + Commission

Our client operates as a marketplace and advisory service provider within the technology and education space.

The business is expanding its international operations across the US and Europe, with a focus on communicating the value of its marketplace and advisory services through consultative conversations.

THE ROLE: SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

The Sales Development Representative will help launch a new international arm supporting US and European operations.

The role focuses on conducting consultative and advisory conversations with prospective clients, with the objective of booking long-term relationship-building meetings rather than selling individual software products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct consultative and advisory sales conversations with prospective clients.
Communicate the value of the business as a marketplace and advisory service provider.
Support the launch of a new international arm across US and European operations.
Ask probing and technical questions during prospect conversations.
Focus on booking meetings designed to build long-term relationships rather than selling individual software products.

ABOUT YOU

Consultative or SaaS sales background.
Ability to ask probing, technical questions.
Strong analytical conversational skills.
High level of maturity and self-direction.
Self-sufficient and completely comfortable with accountability without hand-holding or micromanagement.
Knowledge of technology within education would be highly desirable.
Comfortable working in an informal, high-performance environment built on trust, autonomy, and accountability.
Able to take ownership of your own results.
