About the Position

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Coordinator (export) to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient sales and administrative support, coordinating orders and export processes, and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and deliveries. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively with sales, finance, suppliers, and logistics teams while maintaining high standards of service and compliance.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description

Process invoices and ensure all information on invoicing instructions is accurate and complete prior to manager approval and signature.
Provide administrative support to the sales team, including order processing.
Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends across various regions.
Work closely with the finance department to support invoicing, credit notes, and reconciliations.
Manage exports and cross-trade transactions to other African countries, with a sound knowledge of Incoterms.
Request quotations and issue orders to suppliers.
Ensure timely payments are made in line with agreed credit terms.
Manage export documentation and ensure all requirements and compliance standards are met.
Coordinate pre-delivery inspections.
Liaise with logistics to ensure the on-time delivery of trucks.
Provide accurate and consistent feedback to management.
Track back orders for invoicing and delivery.
Compile and distribute export sales reports.
Provide administrative and ad hoc support to the Stock & Delivery Department.
Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Minimum Requirements

Matric or higher.
National Diploma or relevant certificate in Sales Management or a related field.
2–3 years’ experience in sales support, order processing, or administrative coordination.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including data manipulation and reporting.
Valid Code 8 driver’s licence.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to read and write in English.
Confident and proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate issues and requirements.
