JOB DESCRIPTION:

National wine company is seeking an experienced Sales Consultant in the Durban area.

Experience required:

1-2 years Liquor Industry experience, dealing with restaurants, hotels, bars

Responsibilities will include:

Achieving volume objectives within your respective area.
Execute promotions and listing drives.
Identify and achieve new listings on wine lists by applying your strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
Build strong relationships with customers.
Conduct structured trade visits with Winemakers and brand marketing representatives.
Be involved in special events.
Conduct regular wine service training with and for customers and their staff.
Provide regular feedback to management on competitive brand information regarding trending brands, emerging consumer behaviour and consumption patterns.
