SALES CONSULTANT (OFFICE EQUIPMENT / STATIONERY)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking an experienced SALES CONSULTANT (OFFICE EQUIPMENT / STATIONERY) for a well-established concern. Position based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Grade 12 / Matric.

Valid Code 08 driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.

Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).

Relevant sales qualification an advantage.

Previous experience in the sales and marketing environment is essential.

A strong understanding of working with tenders.

Sales and marketing exposure in the stationery, catering and hygiene, scholastic supplies, technology and office furniture products would be advantageous.

Applicants must have the necessary skills to prepare quotes and perform sales related commercial calculations.

Strong administrative skills.

Applicants must have the ability to negotiate at both corporate and SMME levels and must be able to cold canvas when necessary.

Contract management and negotiating with a range of clients is an important requirement of the job.

Reaching monthly sales targets.

In-depth understanding of the BBBEE legislation.

Candidates must be prepared to undergo psychometric and theoretical assessments.
