Retail Store Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client s seeking an experienced and results-driven Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of the store, drive sales performance, ensure profitability, and deliver exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing store operations, leading and developing staff, maintaining compliance standards, and ensuring operational excellence.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 (essential).
• Diploma in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Retail Sales and/or Marketing.
• At least 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management position.
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, sales management, and customer service.
• Computer literacy (MS Office Suite).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store.
• Drive sales growth and achieve profitability targets.
• Oversee stock control, merchandising, pricing, and inventory management.
• Ensure excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop store employees.
• Manage staff scheduling, performance management, and training initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and operational procedures.
• Monitor store performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and results.
• Control costs, manage budgets, and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and professional store environment.
