SUMMARY:
A leading luxury hotel and lodge group is seeking an experienced Reservations Consultant to join its central reservations team based in Bryanston, Johannesburg.
This role is ideal for a highly organised hospitality professional with extensive multi-property reservations experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing reservations, delivering exceptional customer service, and providing efficient administrative support while ensuring accurate bookings and seamless guest experiences across the group.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENT:

RSA ID and legal residence essential
Minimum 5 years' experience within a hospitality reservations department or tourism/travel call centre managing multiple properties
Previous experience as a Reservations Consultant or similar role essential
Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal)
Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Experience with PMS systems such as Nebula, eRes, Opera, and Apex advantageous
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
High attention to detail with excellent administrative skills
Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-driven
Professional presentation with a strong team-oriented approach

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage reservations across multiple properties accurately and efficiently
Respond professionally to reservation enquiries via telephone and email
Process new bookings, amendments, cancellations, and guest requests
Maintain accurate reservation records and guest information
Provide administrative support to the Reservations Department
Assist guests with reservation-related queries and deliver exceptional customer service
Ensure reservation procedures and company standards are consistently followed
Work closely with the Reservations Manager and operational teams to maximise occupancy and revenue
Perform additional reservations and administrative duties as required

PACKAGE:

R20,000 – R25,000 CTC (Negotiable DOE)
Provident Fund (5% employee contribution)
Medical Aid available as part of the CTC package
