We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Research Technician to join a dynamic agricultural research team.

This role involves assisting with the planning, execution, and monitoring of crop trials while collecting and managing accurate research data across various agricultural projects.

✅ Requirements

• 2 – 5 years’ relevant experience
• Agricultural Degree or related qualification
• Strong Excel and computer skills
• Valid driver’s license (non-negotiable)
• Fluent in Afrikaans & English (read, write & speak)
• Willingness to travel and work overtime during peak seasons

• Plan and monitor crop trials for Sunflower, Soyabean, Sorghum & Maize
• Assist with planting, monitoring, and harvesting trials
• Collect and manage accurate research data
• Support farmer days and demonstration plantings
• Assist marketing managers during planting and harvesting seasons
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of all research information
