The Role: Repair & Maintenance Manager
This role is responsible for ensuring that all facilities and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standard. Based at a luxury property in Camps Bay, the Repair & Maintenance Manager leads a multi-disciplinary maintenance team, overseeing daily operations, preventative work, and emergency repairs to ensure safety, functionality, and a flawless guest environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all maintenance operations on-site

• Lead a team of maintenance technicians and ensure efficient task delegation

• Coordinate with departments to respond promptly to maintenance issues

• Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules

• Manage contractor and supplier relationships

• Monitor and report on maintenance budgets and expenses

• Ensure compliance with OHAS standards and building regulations

• Interpret and work from architectural layouts and technical drawings

About You

• 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar maintenance or facilities management role

• Previous supervisory or project management experience is essential

• Technical background with broad maintenance skills

• Experience in hospitality or commercial property management is advantageous

• Proficient with MS Office and strong administrative capabilities

• Knowledge of OHAS regulations and building codes

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities

• Qualification in Maintenance or Project Management preferred
